Turkey’s Erdogan Fires Statistics Chief After Record Inflation

The president of the Turkish statistical institute, Suat Dincer, was removed from office and replaced by Erhan Cetinkaya, who had been deputy president of Turkey’s Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency.
